Over five days, six people walked from the Lipno reservoir in Czechia to Linz in Austria without using the power grid. Their world was a dreamy and peaceful world without electrical infrastructure, telephone services, or the internet. Every day, the travelers celebrated a ritual: they climbed two hills in the landscape and used old devices and hand-crank-generated electricity to establish a wireless hyperlocal internet.
